Tranny Service Question

This may sound kinda dumb, but I have not been able to get a straight answer from anybody around here. My 87 TII tranny has 2 fill plugs on the driver side. Which one do I fill the tranny with? Does the tranny have two cavities inside or does the front plug overflow over to the rear or do they have to be filled seperatly? Also the manual says to run GL5 fluid. Anybody have an upgraded fluid to recomend?

Redline MTL (if I remember right), or Royal Purple 75w-90 are the forum's tranny fluids of choice.

Remove both upper plugs, front and rear. Fill the front hole until the fluid runs out the rear hole.
Have always used Redline in trans/diff---Good Stuff
