Is it an auto or manual tranny?

Well it isnt to bad.

Remove starter, driveshaft and unbolt the tranny mount.

Then unbolt if a manual the clutch slave cylinder and unhook any wires.

Remove the bellhousing bolts. There are 2 bolts on the drivers side, 2 on the passengers side, and one nut on top.

there are also several wires that you'll need to disconnect. some of them can be a pain in the butt. theres a ground on top of the bellhousing on the passenger side that is much easier to disconnect from the firewall than trying to undo the 10mm from underneath. removing the slave cylinder helps too.

make sure when you put it back in to reconnect the ground that is on the bolt above the starter. otherwise your car wont start.

while im on the subject, when i swapped mine, the annoying little "shift up" light is now coming on when im in 5th. i cant shift up. stupid car. anyone know why this is? im guessing it has something to do with the little pigtail of wires by the shifter.

You may have missed the recessed bolt that's hidden under the starter.

I believe the ground nut mentioned is closer to the passenger side and when i pulled my tranny there was like a spade clip that i just unhooked instead of taking it off the firewall
