Tranny question

I've heard of ppl using miata gears to rebuild their trannys, is this possible? and are there benefits to it?

Can anyone tell me how to rebuild my tranny? and possibly some better gears/gear ratios to use?

Yes, Miata gears can be used. It does require some machining of the stock housing to accomplish this. Rob at Pineapple Racing is building mine right now. I would suggest having someome with some experience perform this task for you.

Why are you putting miata gears in? Getting a 6 speed?
What's it costing?

What if I just wanted to rebuild it with stock gears? Can anyone tell me how to go about doing that, after my tranny is off of the car?
