tranny question

I'm doing an auto to manual swap. I got a tranny off a guy I know who says it came from a RX-7. The holes for where the tranny mounts to the cross member are different though. The ones on my auto tranny and the other 5spd tranny I have fit right to the Y- bracket because the holes are off to the sides like normal. This tranny only has 2 holes flat on the bottom. The Y- bracket doesn't come close to matching up with these holes. Anyone know if there is another Mazda tranny that had just 2 holes like this? I heard of people using Miata and B2200 trannys in RX-7s. I'm just wondering what I have. I'm going to go look for a part number. I'll take pics and see if I get lucky enough to let them upload.

Here's the pics

Here are the pics. The first one is a normal tranny mount which requires the Y- bracket along with the crossmember.

Here is the normal tranny.

Here is the one that looks different.

Side by side, they do have some slight differences. The one with the weird mount doesn't say Mazda on the side, and on the bottom center of the center section of the tranny, the one with the weird mount doesn't have the lip cast into it. The one with the wierd mount also has a different starter mount. Its the same size and shape, but the casting is different. Here they are side by side. Not the greatest pic but you can see the starter mount.

The mounting points for the crossmember are different between series. The one on the left looks like one from a S5 model and the one on the right looks to be from an S4.

The auto tranny I pulled out of the car ws a S4 and had the same mount point as this S5 tranny on the left. Thats weird. I completely disassembled the auto tranny and I can tell its a S4. The valve body of an S5 auto tranny has all the wires and solenoids on it when you open the pan.
