My tranny did something very strange. I went to down shift from 5th to 4th and it seemed that the handle locked up. I kinda slaped it a little from the side to knock it loose and it did I thought ok it was just sticking but now i only have 1st and 2nd gear it wont engage anyother gear. If I try and put into 5th or Reverse it sticks like before. What could be the problem? Any help is appreciated.

 

you snapped a shaft or one or more of the shifting forks...

Rebuild it..........
