alright i was puttin a tranny in my 89 gxl. i bought the tranny from a guy that was bought the car from the junkyard. and was usin it for a parts car. so i take the tranny outta that to put it with my motor. and while it was out my friend shifted it 1st through 5th gear and it shifted pretty fine. then the day after that i try to put it all threw 5 gears and it only goes from 1st to 2cnd. i havent got the car running yet so i dont know whats up. but is the tranny still any good. i put new fluid in it. but it really hangs up back and locks it way outta the rest of those gears. is there anything that could happen call making tranny screw up from dry shifting. ??
