tranny mount questions

I recently purchase a 87 turbo with no engine and tranny

I have a 89 n/a 5 speed tranny i put in and had a custom driveshaft made to bolt up to the rearend

My problem is that the tranny mount bolts up from the side and not the bottom of the tranny and the crossmember i have fits the chassis but does not fit the tranny mount

Somebody told me that if i get a 89-92 crossmember it will bolt up with tranny mount and the chassis. Can somebody let me know if this is correct

what are the differences between a 89-92 n/a and t2 crossmember for the tranny

ya I think you need the 89 non turbo cross member.

so you made a driveshaft already even though the tranny is not bolted in

are you putting a turbo or non turbo engine in?

I wish i had the funds for a turbo engine but i had a 89 n/a engine so i put it in
I used a crossmember that fit the chassis to support the tranny while i installed everything to the car
car vibrates like hell but i only had it on for a while and i
havent driven it yet

so your saying i need a 89-92 n/a because i have a n/a tranny?

i emailed mazdatrix and they said i needed a turbo crossmember
