tranny id

sorry i did search but couldn't find my answer. how can you tell the difference between a turbo and n/a transmission? i have an s4. and i bought what i was told is an "s5 motor and trans w/turbo"... so i am unsure?

Easiest way to tell, the turbo transmission has a "ribbed" oil pan where as the N/A is smooth underneath. Also, the turbo transmission has an "oil inspection plug", a fill plug next to it and one drain on the pan. The N/A only has one fill plug and a drain.

thanks dude. i guess i got a turbo trans. i was kinda hoping it was an n/a that way i could of just swaped it with my old one.
