Tranny gear ratios
The other day I read that a stock FC should redline at 160mph, but if you replace 5th gear with the 5th gear from a 3rd Gen tranny, you can redline at 180mph. Is 5th gear in a N/A tranny the same as in a TII tranny? I know the two aren't interchangeable because of the bell housing bolt patterns, but I don't know what else is different between the two.

5th gear in a n/a is .711, while the TII and GTUs model had .756. I odnt know what 5th ratio the 3rd gen has, but I believe its also .756..
The TII and n/a trannies have the same bell housing bolt pattern.....they bolt to the same motor. But the input shaft, flywheel/clutch diameter, gear ratios, etc are different.
