im in the process of doing a sex change i have a 89 vert auto
i just bought s5 tranny
i was wondering if i can put an s4 ecu in it bcuz i neeed a new ecu for the swap but theyre only s4's in the junk yard.
are s4 ecu's compatible?
help plz!

The stock series five ECU has little to nothing to do with your present automatic transmission. There is a ECAT computer for that auto transmission.
In other words, just change the transmission out. That's almost all you have to do except pull the plug on the ECAT.
