tranny conversion

Doing a turbo conversion on a 89 gxl. Is it possible to mate a fd tranny up to a turbo II and if so, what would I need?

I wasn't sure as to strength, I just figured the FD wouldn't be weaker and I found a good deal on one.

Why don't you just buy the one that has been well documented to be just fine?

turbo ii tranny/drivetrain will handle 400hp, more than you need.

Anything is possible...

Lesse...full clutch kit for an FD.
Full hydraulics for an FD...at least the clutch slave, since it's a pull-type.
Specially made driveshaft, since the position of the FD trans is going to be about 1.5" shorter.
Which also would require a custom trans brace, since the FD trans mounts differently.
