tranny brace/mount?

im not sure if its it but i think i have a bad tranny mount, no flaming if this sounds stupid but my 240 did this same thing and it turned out to be my tranny mount being broken.

when im driving normal and i let off the gas to slow down a bit then i slowly give it gas again, i hear a loud thud/click coming from directly below the shifter. i can feel a slight bump in the shift **** too. i looked under the car and everything seems ok. the bell housing has some slight play in it when i push it from underneath. can anyone point me in the right direction as to what this may be?? Thanks

Could be a Tranny mount or differential mount.. Sound more like a differential mount symptom to me. Get under there and check both. mazdatrix offeres both for sale in OEM and competition.

Good luck

If it's either one of those your looking at a maximum of 150.00 to purchase the part an fix yourself...

Well your looking at 300.00 total for both at Mazdatrix.com

One of my pet peeves for every FC I buy is to replace those and the oil cooler lines before I even do a tune up. I just ordered them for the TII I picked up last week.
