trailing ignition coil Part #N32618251A...
I have a 1988 rx 7 Mazda convertible 1.31/r2 (non turbo). The above part appears to be "discontinued" Does anyone know why and what I need to get to replace it. Parts sites say the original part does not fit my vehicle...but it is there originally. Thanks

most people would just replace the whole coil assembly, they are all the same 86-91, you can find used ones very inexpensively

trailing ignition coil Part#N32618251A
I am trying to buy the two originals, one being the lead coil (which I have located) and the trailing coil (which on the Mazda site says has been discontinued) and which is the Part # recited. The lead coil has an individual part #.

N326-18-251 is just the ignitor portion of the coil assembly. the entire assembly is, or was N326-18-100B. very low failure rate, lots of used ones around

Rx7 rotary engine mechanic --the villages forida
I am having difficulty finding a mechanic to service my vehicle. Currently in The Villages Florida about an hour west and slightly north of Orlando. Dealerships not particularly helpful. Does anyone know of anybody within a couple of hours drive? Thanks
