Exclamation trailing coil

if one of the trailing coil igniters becomes dirty, or has carbon around it..what effect will this have on the spark plug/car....and is it possible to clean it...it's for a 1988 none turbo rx7.

if one of the coils goes bad it will keep your car from running to it's full potential. when mine was bad i could barely go past 4k rpms

I don't think it's bad...it just needs cleaning...can you recommend something to clean it with?
