get a full trailer if possible. Those dollys are a bitch. But if you must, back it on there, tie the stering wheel striaght so it cannot move, set the E-brake and make shure the back tires are tied on there real well

ive towed many cars with those uhaul dollies. just put the car on it backwards and lock the steering column. simple. also ive never had a problem going 60-70mph with the dolly. the larger 'auto transport' trailers kill your gas mileage. the tow dolleys...not at all.

The 45mph limit is just so u-haul can cover its ***... the trailers can handle highway speeds no problem. Some people say back the car on the dolly but it can cause serious problems if you don't get the front wheels straight. You can pull the car on forward as long as you disconnect the drive shaft so it doesn't spin the tranny the entire trip. It can cause a lot of wear on the tranny if you pull it with the drive shaft connected for hundreds of miles since the tranny will spin but without proper lubrication.

If you have that kind of tow vehicle, rent the trailer that U-haul offers. I used them several times in the past.
