tps, unplug or leave plugged

my tps is bad, but since it is sunday I can't go anywhere to get one. Should I leave it unplugged or plug it back up?

dunno. autozone wants 150$ I might check some out @ the junkyard and see if any of those are any good, except just about all of them have the motors gone :-(

I have an 86-88 TPS with a slightly cracked connector (the TPS works fine though) for sale. I'd sell it for $20, shipping included.

You can drive your s4 all day with no TPS.
It will backfire and give a check code since the ECU will not see when the throttle is closed. No harm though.

Those with s5's need the TPS to control the OMP.
Running without the OMP is bad...

Umm, you might want to shop around. I bought one from Mazda for $80. I'll double check but ****, send me a check and I 'll ship you one
