TPS Screw GONE

Went to adjust it and theres no adjustment screw there... I guess if I find out the thread size all I'll need is a bolt and a nut. Anyone know the thread size?

Listen, all it is is a screw and a nut. Get a screw that fits the hole, and a nut on the end. The tension will keep it from sliding around if it's loose. I've had to do that sooo many times for various things it's not even funny. IT WORKS.

you *could* take the TPS off and bring it to ACE in your pocket...

The screw isn't on the TPS, it's on the throttle linkage.

So you have been driving around for how long without that screw? I might just look at some of your old posts and see how many of your problems were most likely related to that one very important screw!

I couldn't find a screw, so I said "screw it" and took the whole thing out and chucked it.. Every less pound is a little more fastness right? Another problem solved on my own... Thanks Though!

I don't think you want to be running without a TPS...is that even possible?

That doesn't make sense. Car won't run after it has warmed up without a TPS. Have you considered going to a junkyard?

TPS=Throttle Position Sensor. Kind of important as it tells the ECU what the current position of the fun pedal is. Car will not run without it after it has warmed up.

No, that post was a joke... Thought it would be fun to see a few replies . This should have been a clue "Every less pound is a little more fastness right?" But then again... forget it lol........ I got a screw and some nuts and it in and its adjusted. Hope every one didn't go rip the TPS out of the car
