TPS & Idle
I assume the settings of the TPS will directly affect idle? I ask because i replaced my thermosensor today and started her up again and it seems to start easier witht the sensor plugged in but it still doesn't idle for ****. As in if i start it with my foot off the throttle, it starts, .85 sec later it dies- if i "feather the throttle a little i can hold it at 2-2500 any lower and it dies.
I am ordering a set of lights to set the TPS, I need to bring my mulitmeter home and quick being a sloth- If i know its why it won't idle, it is more incintive to go get it now

I haven't found the problem yet- I think i have elimanated every possiblility but the one i hate to admit- All the block-off plates i used where made by me, I think one of them, might not be perfectly flat and letting there be some sort of Vacuum leak like you said. I just ordered a thick set off plates from *coughebaycough* and am going to get rid of my handy work I used pretty think anodized aluiminum, i guess my metal skills aren't up to par.
I have done the following trying to find the idle problem-
-Reset TPS and Idles stop screw- Idles at 2200 and up fine, below that it drops off?-
-replaced thermo sensor (wasn't hooked up when i began removing vac. rack? previous owner goof?-
-replaced plugs
-banged head on tool box
-twice
Only thing left that could have affected it since i started removeing the rack is my plates. damnit.

HAHAHAHAAAAA, Ok, to understand why I'm laughing I'll tell you I have slight dyslexic tendancies.
So I'm reading your post and I got to:
-replaced plugs
-banged head on tool box
-twice
I however, read:
-replaced heads
-banged plug on tool box
-twice
Pointless post I know, but I was laughing for a while.
