TPS I know it gets old but help please.
OK I just need to know if I am doing the adjustments right or not.
ok 1. start the engine and warm it up to normal temp.
2. Shut engine off. ( do I have to leave the key turned to where it says ACC. )
3. Jumpper the two wire connector thing close to the front coil
4. hook up a multimeeter to the TPS( I do not know which wire to plug into ) and ground it at the battery.
5. Adjust the TPS screw untill the multimeeter reads 1ohm.
then remove every thing and un jumper the conector.
6. runn the car for a little while and then repeat the proccess until I get it to one ohm.
"puts on flame suit" and runs

You are an animal! I would recommend getting a manual before guessing what wire to hook your multimeter up to. The Haynes covers this and can be bought for less than ten bucks off Ebay.

i adjusted mine by turning on the car lettin it warm up...puttin the probes from the multimeter into the back of the connector that comes from the tps
put the red probe into the redwire (look down the connector and there should be a red wire) and put the black probe into the black wire..
the connector looks like this right?
o o dont use the wire at the bottom of the connector
o <----
now you can leave the car running or whatever keep it to the ACC if you like. And then adjust the screw that is ontop of the spring right in front of the dynamic chamber. Where the throttle cable is connected to. Adjust the screw until u hit .95 at normal operating temperature.

OK
I just set my TPS to 1k ohms but My car still idles like a 1k rpm WTF
My TPS was set to 1.2345k ohms so I set it back to 1k but my cars idle only went down a little. I also adjusted the srew on the top as far as I could to lower it and it is still at 1k rpms. Could this be something else messing with my idle? I do not have a VAc leak I ame 98.6% sure about that. What other things mess up the idle?

if you don't have a acurate RPM reading its hard to tune, the stock gauge is good for higher RPMS but sucks at idle, I've had mine read 750-900 on my SAFC and it will sit in between 1000-1100, so wait till you install that safc and that will help quite a bit

The tps does not set the idle. See the chapter on Fuel, at http://www.iluvmyrx7.com for setting your, timing, tps, idle etc. It's too finger tiring to try to write a how to on setting idle, but there is a straight forward approach in the fsm at http://www.iluvmyrx7.com
