TPS calibration

Can I adjust the TPS while the throttle body isn't on the car? I finished the throttle body mod on my 87 turbo, and I didn't take my TPS off. It reads .710 K with a multimeter, but i wonder if I try to adjust the screw or measure resistance with it off the car would it give me incorrect readings?

If you pull the cold start, yes you can adjust the TPS off the engine.&nbsp Make sure you pump the throttle plates a few times to make sure it's adjusted correctly.
