How much is a "new" engine worth..

How much is a "new" engine worth..
I usually hate these kind of posts where people ask how much something is worth, so sorry, but I really dont have much of an idea. I recently pulled an engine from a 86 GXL, and it is a new Mazda engine, with receipts, and ~25k miles on it. I was planning on just tossing it in my car, but Id like to do a port job, and I dont see the point in cracking open such a new engine. My question is, how much would be a reasonable price to sell it for, If I decieded to do so? Short block only. Thanks..
