TPS adjustment

Can the TPS be adjusted to an optimal range for performance as with many other cars. I've seen it done on mustangs and hondas, what about an Rx-7?

Not an FC3S from what I know about the way it's designed (performance)..

I needs to be adjusted to attain a stable idle as part of a "tune-up", but there are no gains associated with it over stock.

The problem is that the TPS is used under very light throttle conditions - it's practically ignored at WOT, as it suddenly pops open at around 1/3rd+ throttle!&nbsp With that in mind, it's hard to get more "performance" from a sensor that is ignored at WOT, right?

The TPS's main role is to switch the injectors off when the throttles are closed. Adjusting it will affect smoothness and driveability, but not performance. This applies to all EFI cars, not just RX-7's.
