tps???
Aight i have an 88 turbo2 when i was checking the tps i did the test where u open the throttle slowly and i had a spot where it droped ohms and said lo on my meter but jumped right back to hold ohms alil bit ferther into throttle is that bad

I sounds suspicious. BUT.........try this. Connect all the plug up to the harness. Put your meters negative lead on a known gnd point like the alternators case. Then using say a sewing needle or paper clip or equiv, back probe the green/red wire on the TPS connector with you meters positive lead.
Now key ON engine OFF and a fully HOT engine. Meter on dcvolts and it should read approx 1vdc. Now slowly open the throttle with you had while watching the meter. If the reading does not show an open when you go from idle to full throttle, and you do that several times without fault, I'd say the TPS is good. Remember, all elect plugs connected up and meter on DC VOLTS not ohms. Please.
