tps??
my rpms we dropping down faste at high way speeds when i up shift . and when i downshift i herd thunder so i got come and checkt my car out and what did i finde. some how i lost my tpslol it just wasn't there???? so my question is can drivng without it harm my engine?

not sure if it will hurt the engine or not... I do have an extra one i would part with. tested, no dead spots or skips. PM me if interested.

The TPS is the throttle position sensor which tells the ECU how much throttle you're giving the car. Pretty ******* important.
I think the default for the TPS not being there is 100% throttle. If thats the case, it will run very rich. There's downsides to that, but nothing extremely urgent that wouldn't let you drive your car. Just get it fixed (put one on that works right) ASAP.

The TPS for the S4 is NOT a critical part. If he had an S5, his car would probably default to limp mode if there was no TPS.
On the Series 4 car, the TPS is used more to trigger emissions controls then to give inputs to the ECU for fuel control.
Replace the TPS at your leisure, its not hurting your car. Furthermore, there is no "mechanical" TPS.
