new meaning to the term Zoom Zoom

 

I've only had two chances to hit my top speed, but couldnt go through, both on the same highway. First chance, had a bit of clear road, got to 230kph VERY easily, but then traffic came up pretty fast Second chance was the day after, when me and one of my friends went out on the same highway to find out the top speed, but the car overheated (we had gone for a couple of fast spins ), and I had to let off...

I have still to discover my TII's top speed, but a friend of mine did 260kph easily (thats a bit over 140 for you US dudes). I'm guessing the same for me...

so 200=120
300=180 (nice job soul assasin)

 

Yeah i was feeling that too, but i was willing to go the distance if need be. i guess i'm just a little crazy

But seriously i was worried about how shaky she felt at that speed.

I had my NA up to 130mph (took forever to get there too) ASSUMING stock speedometers are accurate, which I highly doubt. Most OEM speedometers are calibrated for like 30mph so by the time they get to 100 they are 5-8% off (showing more than your really doing).

Ive hit 135 by the speedo, does anyones elses N/A seem to fell light at about 110? Feels like the car is getting real loose. 5th gear is almost worthless for acceleration, literally crawls.

 

VERY LIGHT

and yes 5th gear is not for acceleration, especially with 16" or larger wheels. they just make the gear ratios too much taller for our powerband.

 

The guy that owned my TII before I did, buried the speedo in it.
I have modded it quite a bit since then. I think I could hit 170 MPH no problem.
MikeL has gone 177 MPH in his.

 

My car never felt light on the front end, even at 140. A little shaky(tires were a bit out of balance), but never light.

My car actually accelerates decently in 5th for a n/a. I was racing a miata from 95-115, and I stayed in 5th and still beat him.

 

fastest i have ever gone is around 125. with my cheap *** catco stock cat on i can only get up to about 120 at redline in 4th on a flat surface. i can go faster downhill of course..

its a vert tho, has those strange gears.

i really wanna try to get a high speed run in with my test pipe and 6 ports wired up.

i think that cat is a big restriction, or my motor is going out the door.. or something aint working.. who knows!!

car starts everytime and runs like a beast... just slow.. who knows...!
