I envy you guys, the fastest I've gone is 80. Thats because of rush hour. I hope you are all safe doing these "wangan" trials!

Ya know I've heard this before, and I don't doubt it at all. But when I looked at my GPS and speedo they were dead on. I was totally expecting a big difference. I must have one of the lucky 1%.

My 91 Rx7 NA did 125 mph. (this was a while back).

My 01 Miata Autotragic did 130 mph top speed after holding it down forever.

My GTR does 160 mph all day long no problem (completely maxxed).

Tested these myself, don't ask where

my 91 n/a 7 does 120mph on 4th gear but on 5th it sounds like it is struggling to get over 130. i don't know if the exhust can be a reason cause i got a one f****d up main cat that need to be changed.

but seriously why on earth it can't reach the 5000rpm, 5500rpm or so on 5th gear? it drives me crazy every time i get to 5th gear trying to get to the speed i want but it's just hopeless.

too much drag and too little power...

so either get more aerodynamic or get more power

Here's a video of my 7 doing a top speed run... I don't know if this is normal or not but it pulls stong till 4th gear but in 5th it is really weak...

Anyway, here's the movie:
Notice that i wasn't flooring it because driving while holding the cellphone is a little dangerous... =S

240km/h @ less than 6k rpm

i'll get more power but i need a good and not expensive shop to do that for me.

i am not looking for more than 260 hp. that's cool with me but i am wondering how much will that cost to be done.

I would recommend a turbo engine swap with a BNR turbo and all the supporting mods.

The parts can get quite expensive and I would have no idea what it costs to have someone do the work for you.
