top speed

I would seriously DOUBT that car weighs '2000' lbs. Also, having a tII rear-end isn't going to do **** for your top speed, it's the same damn gearing as an n/a, and it's also a good extra 150lbs for a tII driveline. Man the lifeboat!

Is it the same gearing? I thought the gear ratios for the diffs were different. I could be mistaken though....

All 5sp coupes (other than the GTUs) had 4.1 gears, the vert IIRC came with 3.9. The 5th gear is different, but surely not that much!
