Top Speed

If i have a 4.10 gear ratio and i'm doing around 120mph at 5000rpms,what would be my speed if i had 4.30 gears at 5000rpms in 5th gear.Or by how much percentage would my top speed be affected if i put the 4.30s.Thanks

hmm, so according to that I'm probably going somewhere between 130-135 MPH when my guage reads 140 at just above redline in fourth. I'm not sure how fast I'm going at 7500 RPM's though, I'll have to note the next time I do a top speed run.

What rear end do you have? I find that im only going 125mph at 7000rpm in 4th.

I don't know if you were talking to me or not, but I have the stock 4.1 gears.

125 mph at 7000 RPM's sounds about right. That gives me another ~1000 RPM's to play with though, and I can push redline in fourth. Usually on a top end run I'll push it to about 8300 RPM's.
