Angry Took it to a family friend to fix, now barely boosts

Well i took it to a garage my dad knows the guy and hes always worked on our cars. Hes fixed my 1st gen before so I figured my 88 T2 wouldnt be to hard. He hard to take the turbo off and the manafold to replace the O rings in there because it was leaking coolant. Well it doesnt leak anymore, but now the blow off valvue wont leak off preasure, seems to shake the intake and slowly let off and my boost gauge spikes down when going off preasure.. He is a smart mech and he said he put everything back as it was. im at a loss and This is just killing me. I hope you guys can lend some advice. (he did the work for free for the family since he knows we are low on $$) but he's an expert.. guess just not on a turbo rotary and here in orlando everyone wants to rip you off to work on a turbo RX7

ok ill check because the blow off valuve doesnt even let off preasure, the intake shakes and it releases very slow and the boost gauage just skips downwards

When the BOV isn't working the air goes against the compressor blade. My BOV was non-op after a tech touched my car. It made a funny noise kinda like a woosh-woosh-woosh. That was the air against the turbo bouncing around.

I sometimes check pics of my engine bay to make sure everything is back like it was before. Since my engine is custom there is no FSM. IF you have a pic of the BOV check it to see it matchs how it's put together now.
