Unhappy tonight sucked :(

I was driving slowely (apparently not slow enough) on a drizzly road tonight, and my car spun about 60* and over the other side of the road...countersteered, and started spinning madly the other direction and my rear end smashed into a concrete ditch . My exhaust is about 1" from my wheel, the heat sheild was going into the tire, and i pryed it off thank god. The pass. rear quarter panel got about 2" inward dent up to the light, and the RB stainless steel endlink on the pass side has no bushing in it anymore.....The car ended up having the pass wheel on the grass, the drivers wheel hanging in mid air, and the front wheels on gravel. Not to meantion the spare tire well has a flat bottom now..

Jeff

PS: i feel like flybye now

Sounds like you're ok though, and that's what really counts.

That is sad news... but sounds fixable at least. Thats why I live in CA ... Drizzle on the roads in the end of July? ... wow, never heard of that here.

A very similar thing happened to me, except I saw it coming so I managed to almost not hit the curb, but I caught my front right wheel on a curb at about 35 mph I got lucky though and only lost a tie rod end.
