AR toe eliminator caps?

I'm actually an SA owner but did have an FC project at one point about 3 yrs ago. I was forced to sell the project due to personal issues but held on to some items for other, non related issues.

I had installed the MAZDATRIX "toe eliminator" bushes in the rear control arms and began scratching my head and discovered I had a touch of Pityriasis simplex capillitii (commonly known as "dandruff"). I also realised there is a single shear issue (which is never good). These eliminators have worked for years and engineers and racing profs. have played with them and there's no issue. I'm no....body... but was thinking there could be an improvement...

I developed these caps that cover the large end of the bushes (under the bolt head) assuming this would diffuse some of the single shear (but not produce a TRUE double shear situation) and give even more stability. I do know that shear is not the real issue there but there is a fulcrum and yada...

I want your opinion.

Am I crazy! Did I create something totally useless?!

Sorry for the sterility of the photo!

Never got to use them myself.

By the way... I don't need them so if you wish to experiment with them, you can have them (not that you can't produce them yourself (pipe+ SAE washer + TIG + black paint = these). Pay shipping. (Blonde pubes not included! [well, maybe])
