is a To4e to small for a BP 13b ?

hey ppl.

Im planning to rebuild my engine soon and in the process give my babe a bit of a port job, Im just curious if I BP her will she then start to flow to much for my currect turbo set up.

Im running a To4e 60-1 with a 1.15 hot side and .7 cold, Im getting 340Rwhp at the moment (very happy with it etc etc) but whats my limit with the porting I could do without going overboard for the turbo to handle it. ? (eg to much out of its effeciency range)

im happy to upgrade fuel etc etc to suit the HP levels, Im just really wanting to know what is the limit on the porting, if you guys tell me do a half bridge or just get a extended port because thats the max my turbo will flow, well then cool, just want some feed back.

ps, Im use to running 14psi (have been for the past 4 yrs) and I have a good tuner and a microtech if ti helps

cheers

plenty of people run that turbo on big ports. Your turbine A/R is actually much better suited for big porting. 1.15 is pretty large for stock ports, but should be fine on a bridge or half bridge. You could probably even stand to go for the 1.00 if you wanted more spool, and didnt mind dropping your powerband a little.

personally Im happy with the power band at the moment, Im hoping that with the BP of half bridge I will flow more, therefor decreasing my spool time, so the 1.15 should be fine.

Im not so concerned about my spool time, more that Id hate to do a bridge port and then find out my turbo really isnt cutting it in the high rev range, then Id want to upgrade turbos etc etc, which I dont want to have to do .

In saying that what turbos are ppl with BP running ?

Go for it.
That turbo is still go for 400hp easily.
I'm curious to see dyno graphs before and after with the bridgeport...
