Tire rubbing on coilover perch

after i installed my coilovers, i notice that my tire sometimes rubs on the bottom coilover perch. it doesnt do it all the time, just seems to do it when i turn the wheel sharply, like when im turning around or something and have the wheel at one extreme or the other. is there anyway i can fix this without getting new rims/tires? i was wondering if i could put some large flat washers or something in between the wheel and the studs because i only need about 1 or 2 mm more clearance.

a thin spacer might solve your problem.

yea, but im poor, would some wide, thin washers do the job, as long as the inside diameter is centered perfectly on the stud to keep it balanced? i would do this to bother wheels of course, but would it make a diff if i didnt put them on the rears?

If it's minimal, can you grind a small amount off????

hmmm.. yea, i probably could. have to make sure the flat spot on the perch stays parallel to the tire though, otherwise things could go horribly wrong.
