A 7" wide wheel will appreciate a 205 series tire up to a 225 series before looking overly pudgy.

A 8" wide wheel will appreciate a 225 series tire up to a 245 before looking pudgy.

BUT both of these will be limited to how much space you have between rim and spring.

depending on offset of the rim, a wider tire will hit the shock assembly.

yes and the fenders.

On the stock S5 turbo rims the widest I can fit on that was 215, 225 will hit the shock and fender in the front.
