shifter help

Hey guys I might have got myself up a creek without a paddle. I took my shifter out to see check and see if I needed anything other than the bushing which I already ordered but when reassembling it I dropped one of the three bolts that hold the shifter to the transmission. I am gonna try to find it again in the morning, but does anyone know what size the bolt is. I need to find out now cause my 7 is my daily driver.

It's a really common size. Embarrassingly I forget it off the top of my head so just take one of the remaining bolts and go to the hardware store, (or just find the bolt you lost ) In any case I wouldn't worry about driving around on only 2 bolts if you had to.

if you don't see the bolt under the car, it might be stuck between the body and the heat shield. i dropped on down there as well.
