600 grit dry, followed buy 1200 grit wetsand. Depending on how thick the spray is, you may just skip right to the 1200 wetsand. Then pick up any headlight repair kit that uses a power drill. There's a product at Advance Auto that works well, though I can't remember the name of it. It comes in a black box about the size of a 20oz drink and contains 5 or 6 polishing foam pads that connect on the end of a power drill, and works with water instead of chemicals. Inexpensive, and by far the best plastic repair product I've used to get plastic lenses looking brand-spanking new. You're going to make a bit of a mess doing it in your lap, between the water and polish throw-off, so work somewhere that won't be a problem. Remember to avoid that black border when using the sand paper, it's just paint.
