timming marks?
I've haveing some engine troubles and I want to go back and check my timing, only things is, the marks have warn off the pulley. How do I go about remarking the pulley so I can use a timeing gun?

There are dings in the pully (like you hit it with a chisel on the outer edge) that represent the marks. Look closely while you turn the engine over with a ratchet on the alternator pully. When you find them, mark them with a dab of paint or white-out.

There are actually small indentations on the pulley for the timing marks. It might just need to be cleaned up - turn the engine over until you can see the 2 indentations, then wipe it down with a rag with some brake cleaner or the like on it.
If the paint flat out isn't there, put some paint on the 2 indentations.

Frankly speaking, you should not be taking the pulley off with the key'd hub. If you do, there is a chance of making an error and screwing up that torrington bearing. If you just remove the four small bolts that hold the pulley on, there is no risk involved. Plus you don't bust a gut trying to remove the 19mm bolt that should have been put on with locktite and sealant.
The only problem with the removal of the four small bolts, is the bolt pattern only works one way. Can't be put back on willey nilley. Must match hole to hole.
EDIT: Timing, not timming. I stared at that and for the life of me couldn't spell timing myself. Had to look it up. humor, please.

The only part I've ever removed was the pulley part with the four bolts. If the key is in the holes I must have it on right so I'll try to adjust the timing
Well I'll go a head and ask this. the car has all the sudden developed a blugada blugada idle. I've check all the vacume lines and connects and cant find the problem. The car has lost low end torque but gained on the high end, any ideas.
