Timing ?'s

Hey guys, I can't get the timing on the car perfect. I can align the yellow to the L1 but can get the red to the T1 to align. The car has an intake, exaust, and has had the emissions removed. S4 N/A vert. Anyone have anything to say to help out? Should I adjust the timing differently since the emissions had been removed? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

You don't need to adjust the timing if you remove emissions equipment.

How are you checking the timing? Is the engine idling below 1000 rpm?

The car has had a tune up within 5k miles new plugs wires and filters. It has been popping/misfiring during hard acceleration, and is getting about 7-9mpg. I figure i should check the timing since i dont think anything else is wrong with it. I was able to adjust and get the timing and get the yellow line to match but not the red. idle is also sitting at 750ish.
