Timing problem...i think
Timing problem...i think? help!
Ok I just had my engine replaced, there are 2 problems since i have had it back...1. it will not idle under 1500 RPM i was thinking maybe it is the BAC because i unplugged it and it did nothing at all. I took the BAC off and tested it and it clicks everytime soo i dont think that is the problem or maybe it is. And also I tried to adjust the timing via the distributor and i can turn it all the way forward and all the way back and there is no change at all...any help with these problems would be greatly appreciated. And thanks in advance to anyone who comes up with something.

Vac leaks more than likely, and don't just play with the timing, that's bad. Use a timing gun, but since you can't get it to idle below 1000rpm, that's useless, don't even bother with it, just find your vac leak and fix it. If you absolutely swear you have no vac leaks, back the idle stop screw out.
