i went to our local 1/8th mile track last night and watched two verts go up against eachother and run a blazing 10.9 series4 blue vert and a flawless perfect series5 red vert. hell, one run the red s5 vert ran an 11.1 ....... (1/8th mile)

i think the fastest quarter mile time i've seen on HERE was mid 15's that rat was talkin about above.
all the NA guys on here (i'm one for another few weeks) talk about running 14's on here and having 200 HP at the wheels, but no one can show any timeslips or dyno passes.
see: jimmy325i

i'd say low 15's is about as fast as it will get on stock ports with full exhaust, intake, etc.

dr0x us n/a folk just cant compete with the tii folk...

Rx7's in my mind arent really 1/4 mile drag cars, look at autocross times and compare them with cars of similar power then you'll see the true powers

stock ported block wtih header and intake and lots of weight reduction on a s4 NA = low 14s- high 13s period. I personally have run 15.3 with the mods in my sig.....and I took my ac and ps totally out of the car along with another 80 lbs of weight reduction for a grand total of about 120 lbs. So whatever my time was minus 2 belts and about 120 lbs of weight.....and new spark plugs because I ran that 15.3 on over half a tank of gas and had fouled out spark plugs. I am lookin to hit 14s this coming Friday.

-Lee

EDIT* And my light flywheel makes for shitty shifts and launches....so I am at a disadvantage right from the get-go.

Hmmm. Maybe I should keep the stock flywheel but it seems excessive. Maybe a light steel flywheel (about 17lbs) would be ideal?
