Time for a rebuild
*****Sorry the title is wrong. it was meant to be a question haha (was supposted to be "Time for a rebuild???*****
Well here is the issue. I have had this FC for about 2 months. it was running fine but every now and then it would complane about how i needed to add coolant. so i was checking it out and I found that on the lower front part of the engine was a reddish orange gasket sticking out of a housing. It was leaking some sort of fluid it looked like oil but i dont know because of the coolant issue .So i ghetto rigged it cut the gasket down a little and put some JB Weld on it to stop the leak. here are some pictues of it.

Thanks for the help.

I dunno why coolant was leaking out of the side of your motor, to my knowledge there aren't any coolant sensors or lines in that area.
anyways, it doesn't seem like you need to rebuild your motor from what you said. if the leak is external there is no reason to take the whole engine apart.

What fluid is in that area? oil? and if this problem could mess up my engine later on?
its more likely to be oil in that area. what did it look like? I'm sure you can tell the difference between oil and coolant. right?
but as long as it isn't leaking anymore, then why would you spend $500 fixing it? I would just wait until your engine actually explodes, then rebuild the whole thing.
