Time to get a new clutch

I realized today when I tried to launch my FC for the 2nd time from about 3500 RPM that I need a new clutch. It seemed like the tires were slipping up to 6k, but no squealing, just that burning clutch smell. Pressure plate must be on the way out or somehow too weak for a near-stock engine.

In my previous FC I had an ACT street/strip clutch that felt GREAT. I loved the firm feel and stength of the engagement. I could slip it just a bit and then it came on full grip. It was perfectly streetable and had plenty of grip for when I had the urge to launch at a stop light.

I was looking on ebay and found these 2 clutches that interest me. my price limit is about ~$215 for a new clutch if anyone has a good suggestion I woudl appreciate it.

I have replaced a clutch on a '79 SA and am now prepared to conquer that pilot bearing.

You can get an OEM Exedy/Daikin clutch kit for around $160.
BTW if you want a near OEM life expectancy, stay away from ebay brands. Walk away if the clutch gives a horsepower rating; they are only rated by torque...
