TII without a hood

The question is. Can I drive the car without one? Obviously I cant in the rain. But on a sunny day, which we get quite often here in Florida, can I drive it without a hood. I just bought this turbo2 and the hood was robbed and replaced with a N/A hood. I wont have the cash for another hood for at least another month or so, so I'm kinda temporarily screwed.

No its still got the stock top mount. The owner is a friend of mine and is buildin his N/a and replaced his old hood with the turbo hood. Yea, I desperatly need a hood. Bent or not I can do body work. I'll straighten it out if its not too bad.

Well my TII is all stock right now and will be until I get it runnin the way I want. So it will be fine to run it without a hood? And with the N/A hood in the rain it will be fine? That sounds good. Chris that hood sounds pretty thrashed what happened to it?

Unfortunatly no. Us Fort Walton crew pretty much keep to ourselves I guess you could say. maybe once my car is runnin right, I can talk the other guys into gettin off their asses and we can all get up and terrorize Holt with a shitload of 7s or somethin.

Yea I'm still pretty new myself. Lets see. theres mainly 3 of us. We got another guy, but he only comes round occasionaly and hes gotta 4.3 chevy V6 crammed under the hood not a rotary. And the rest of the people here with Rx7s arent really into them like we are. So theres not a lot but there are some us. But we will definatly have to get up some time.

It causes some strange cooling and buffeting issues on the FC. I guess it would be OK if you kept it off the freeway and watched the temp gauge. However, I'm not sure if it is legal to drive without a hood in Florida because I was stopped by the police for this several years ago. Well, that and a noisy exhaust.
