How much power is the TII transmission good for? We're talking drag style launches here.

Some say 400, some say closer to 500. I think you should search/post in the Rotary Drag Racing section.

t2 tranny will live past 500 whp. but not for long.

i now about a person running a T2 tranny on his 750 plus hp rotary.He runs 8.0 in the quarter mile.So far they broke 2 trannys at that power level.

The general rule of thumb is 500. Now I've never personally been to that limit, but a couple porta rican guys I know drag race and they've had theirs at the 600-650 mark for a couple seasons with numerous passes before it bit the dust. I think the 500 mark is a max "it'll live here without breaking" point. But like I said I'm only speaking off second hand knowledge so...
