TII transmission

I remember reading somewhere...? That a automatic driveshaft will work if you are putting in a TII transmission with a N/A rearend.

Is this correct...? Thnx.

No, it is about 2" too short.

A) Install a heavier TII driveshaft, differential, and halfshafts like you should have in the first place.
B) Shorten the car.
C) Modify the firewall, re-mount the engine and transmission 2" closer to the rear of the car.
D) Use the Mazdatrix driveshaft.
E) Have a machine shop mate a TII driveshaft to the NA rear end.

Note that the FC driveshafts are usually about worn out at this age, so I would recommend against any solution that uses a junkyard driveshaft that may or may not lock up and shake your car to pieces.
