tII throttle cable vs. n/a throttle cable
Whats the differances? I bought a new throttle cable under the pretences that it was for a tII however it seems to be a to long. I can't adjust it enough to get it tight.

well I guess what I'm having issues with is the actual line that clips on to the throttle linkage is to long so no mater how much I adjust it at the screw it still is just too long.
You'll need a TII throttle cable or you'll need to customize the Throttle body to be operated backwards.
Hondahater - Perhaps your cable is stretched? How much bare cable is exposed past the end of the sheath when no one is pressing gas pedal down? I can measure mine and compare.

Im not sure if there is a difference in S4 TII and S5 TII throttle cables, but the TII cable is going to be significantly longer then the NA cable. Im having the exact opposite problem. For some reason mine seems to short and opens up the throttle about 1/8 of the way. :/
Yea, you can put a NA throttle cable on the TII engine. You need to reverse the secondary throttle butterfly and make a bracket to hold it. Theres a real nice writeup on it, If anyone has it will they please post it up?
I want to give that a try pretty soon.

hmmm...so can a NA throttle cable be used on the TII motor, or do you need that length?

Here's a pic of how it will look once done. You'll need to custom make the bracket, not too tough tho. There are some other important details in my blog. you have to cut the end off, and silver soulder it back on, reverse the butterflires... its in the blog somewhere...

the important detail
yes. you also have to cut that end of the cable because it will be too long to tightly wrap around those butterflies. You will then have to drill a whole in the metal stopper that you cut off and silver solder it back in place once you find the appropraite length.
