streetporting a 13b, using turbo rotors, and turboing it. i don't see why it wouldn't work. seems to me that the 6 port manifolds would flow better anyways. i say go for it. and send your turbo off to BNR to have them upgrade it.

ok let me start over, i have a 89 n/a. i havent done the TII swap yet, but i have a 89 jdm TII engine waiting to be installed. but im just wondering if it would better if i just buy a rebuilt 13b and port it out, lower its compression and strap a turbo to it, instead of doing the n/a to TII engine swap

a 6 port engine will flow less than a 4 port turbo engine even if they are both ported.
You can put turbo rotors in the n/a engine for added safety factor. But IMHO you should rebuild the JSPEC S5 engine in, and purchase a stand alone, however if you want to up the HP then you would be wise to upgrade the entire drive train to a TII drive train! You would also be best to get an s5 turbo in good shape also.

its a lot of fabrication....to turbo the 6 port

your already over the biggest hump of the conversion...obtaining the engine

just do the swap
thats my opinion
take it for what its worth
