TII Swap Parts List

Ok, so I'm planning to do a TII swap into my 88' GTU this winter. I've complied a parts list, and I want to make sure I have everything.

TII Engine
TII Transmission
N/A Harness (going to modify it)
All other wiriing
TII ECU
Mazdatrix Custom drive shaft (using my stock diff.)
Tanabe 3" Downpipe
TII Hood

Am I missing anything?

I'm assuming this is a S4? You can use the NA AFM but it's not recommended since it's calibrated for lower airflow. A little money now saves money later. If it's a S5, i'm not sure the compatibilty.

I strongly suggest getting the vac/boost gauge. It can help in diagnosing a vac leak, or boost issue once you get the swap going. Its one of those "piece of mind" items.

I agree with the fuel pump too. even tho you got low miles on the car, its NA and ITs 20 years old.

Need the boost sensor too.

I would add turbo half shafts, but you are using the stock rear end.

TII MAF for sure. It'll run on the N/A MAF, but once you hit boost things get wonky, since the 2 MAFs are calibrated for different amounts of airflow.

Here's my list from the swap I just completed:

Engine & Transmission
Transmission Crossmember/Mounts (if not with trans)
Slave Cylinder
Mazdatrix Driveshaft (NA diff to Turbo trans)
N332 ECU
NA EM Wiring Harness
Injector Resistors (6 ohm from Mouser Electronics)
Throttle Cable
Boost Sensor (MAP)
Knock Control Box (didn't use)
Downpipe
Air Flow Meter (AFM)
Intake Tube
FD Fuel Pump
BOV
Clutch & Pressure Plate
Rtek 1.7/1.8/2.1 or AFC
720cc injectors (2 or 4)
Autometer Boost Gauge (all my gauges are Autometer)

Other notes:
Keep the NA power steering setup (if you want PS),
Toss the knock box (useless)
Toss the ASV (NA harness has no plug)
Use a US-spec LIM if emissions testing needed
Get a S5 turbo (so much better than the S4)

Plan for $3000+ depending on how much you buy new vs. used.
