TII Swap almost done, need your help!

So the swap is almost done. The problem is when the car is cold and I turn the ingnition to acc, the temp guage goes to H and beyond. Then what I assume is the temp warning buzzer comes on and stays on. Now if I crank the engine and get it running the temp guage goes to half(even though the engine is still cold) but the buzzer stays on. Also all the lights on the clock cluster come on such as oil level, exaust heat etc. All fluids are at the appropriate level. I'm using the stock vert speedo cluster and CPU however I am using the TII ECU and wiring harness. This also happens when the car is warm. The only thing I haven't connected yet is the O2 sensor and heater blower.

Thanks in advance for any help.

ok here's the deal, on the TII ECU harness there is no plug for the alt. It is however on the n/a ECU harness. As I 've stated I'm still using the n/a driverside harness which doesn't have the alt plug. Seeing how the engine is already in I would prefer not having to take out the drivers side harness. Do I have any options??

look at the shop manual and see the differences between
the turbo and non turbo wiring in the x- plugs
once you get that right everything will work right .
I brought this up before and was flamed for getting it
right, there are some good web pages out there but no
one talks about how to get the wiring right.

Matt, you were obviously correct in your previous post about this subject. Both my donor car and vert are the same year so the different year argument hold no water.
And just because someone does this swap and the car runs and drives, doesn't necessarily mean it was done correctly, my car is proof of that. What makes this forum so good is that many people contribute their ideas and experiences, not just one. If you could tell me exactly what I need to do to get the alt plug wired I would greatly appreciate it. After looking at the FSM I am still unclear of what is involved.

Again thanks,

Mike
