There must be, because I had a 3 inch flange and small piece of pipe that came with a turbo that I bought from a guy on ebay. Dont know where he got it though.

They won't, as the turbo's bolt pattern is not equally spaced. This will:

I had a rather special flange made for me.

look how tight his turbo is to the intake manifold, you probably can't fit **** in there. Ironically, even more reason to have a heatshield or heatwrap becuase it is so close. Nz knows what he's doing, lets just not question his judgment

Yeah, the lower mounting bolt broke removing it. I still have it and it's definitely on my list of "important things to repair". I hate not having it there, particularly since I have steering and braking components there that you LHD guys don't have to worry about.

You are wrong. It's RHD.

It's the same as any other FC with a stock turbo. You can see the heat shield mounting nuts on either side of the coolant line. The inner heat shild is still in place, only the outer one (the important one...) is missing.

Mazdatrix sells the flanges as mentioned above. I have ordered them before, and the parts are quality and easy to weld. You may need to tweak the holes a little though.

I have just had a whole bunch of flanges water-jet cut out of 8mm steel. Upper intake flanges, throttle body flanges, stock turbo exhaust flanges and downpipe flanges. Hopefully soon I'll get them up on my website for sale. Just FYI.
